James Upton has always appreciated Ferrari's dedication to racing, technology and design. As he likes to say, 'They are time machines and incredible works of art'. With this appreciation, and life-long passion for Ferrari, he is extremely proud to be part of the Ferrari Family which is made up of the most wonderful people from around the world.

In just the last five years, James has developed a truly special relationship with Ferrari and he was deeply honoured to be featured in the 50th anniversary issue of The Official Ferrari Magazine (TOFM) given the 'Special Series' Pista 'Twins' that he designed with Ferrari's incredible 'Tailor Made' department and were also personally signed by Ferrari's Senior Vice President of Design, Flavio Manzoni.

James feels truly privileged to have a variety of limited edition Classich'd Ferraris as well as a number of new, special and limited edition models that he absolutely loved designing with Ferrari and their 'Tailor Made' team. James also deeply appreciated Ferrari's invitation to receive a very special limited edition 'Special Series' 812 Competizione which he had the great pleasure of designing in Ferrari's incredible design building in Maranello. He was also one of only thirty six people from around the world who was personally invited to attend the
'10th Anniversary of Cavalcade' in Sicily, Italy.

It was at this extremely exclusive annual event that James had the great pleasure of driving his Classiche'd Ferrari Testarossa in honour of his late father. It was at the truly breathtaking final gala celebration in a stunning historic amphitheater where Ferrari introduced their extremely special and exclusive '10th Anniversary Cavalcade Packages'. James is very much looking forward to receiving Ferrari's latest 'mid-rear-engined berlinetta' in 'Rosso Taormina' in reverence of this incredible event and invitation.

James also deeply cherishes the personal invitation to become one of Ferrari's select 'Special Sales' clients from around the world. He is most thankful to Ferrari for such an incredible invitation given his life-long passion for all that is Ferrari, the Ferrari Family and the truly amazing lifestyle that only Ferrari can create.

The 812 Competizione is the ultimate expression of Ferrari’s concept of an extreme front-engined berlinetta and hones the characteristics of the critically-acclaimed 812 Superfast to a level never seen before. The car encapsulates and epitomises the company’s 70-plus years of experience on the world’s circuits, drawing on its thoroughbred sports car DNA to deliver a perfect marriage of performance, form and functionality.

The car's most striking feature is the latest evolution of Maranello's legendary 65 degree V12 engine, which reaches the highest output of any Ferrari road car engine - 830 cv - and revs to 9500 rpm, again the highest of any Ferrari ICE. The use of high-tech materials, the redesign of many of the engines key components, a new valve timing mechanism and a new exhaust system are just some of the technical solutions that allow the most noble of Ferrari engines to deliver unprecedented performance levels.

This beautiful masterpiece of innovation and design is currently being customized by James with the amazing people at Ferrari. He has already added carbon fibre throughout not mention the two colour combinations, Nero Daytona and Rosso Maranello, are currently being considered and showcased above.

As the Prancing Horse’s first production plug-in hybrid spider, the SF90 Spider sets new performance and innovation benchmarks not only for the marque’s range, but for the entire sports car sector. The synergy between the internal combustion engine and the electric motors unleashes a maximum of 1,000 cv and puts the SF90 Spider not only at the very top of its category but also the Maranello range.
