Alfredo Ferrari (nickhamed Alfredino or Dino) was an Italian automotive engineer and the son of legendary automaker, Enzo Ferrari. Alfredino was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and passed away from this terrible disease at the very young age of twenty four. After his death, Enzo Ferrari named the car fitted with the engine that Alfredino was working on at the time of his death and he named it the 'Dino' in his honour.
When James was about to take delivery of his new 'Dino' after restoring it with Ferrari Quebec's Classiche department, he wanted to do something special in honour of Dino. James decided to make a donation from his personal foundation, The James Upton Foundation, to Muscular Dystrophy Canada in honour of Enzo Ferrari's son, Dino.
